Arizona Cardinals 13
Washington Redskins 22

With Arizona hurting at the QB position right now, oddsmakers feel the Cards won’t be able to put enough points on the boar to hang with the Skins.

Atlanta Falcons 17
New Orleans Saints 25

It wouldn’t have mattered if New Orleans had lost last week. The books feel the Falcons are awful outside the ATL.

Baltimore Ravens 19
Buffalo Bills 16

Buffalo has given the books enough proof that they can hang with their opponents at home and the Ravens have given them enough proof that they can’t score. Ravens defense squeaks one out on the road.

New England Patriots 35
Miami Dolphins 17

The Pats are 6-0 straight up and ATS. New England’s dominance of supposed good teams has forced oddsmakers to face them with a big number this week.

San Francisco 49ers 15
New York Giants 24

New York is on fire having won 4 straight and their fans are starting to get behind them. Back-to-back 30+ point outputs has the books believing the Giants’ offense is in sync.

Tampa Bay Buccaneers 21
Detroit Lions 23

The Bucs have been a big surprise this season, currently tied with Carolina for the top spot in the South, but a 1-2 road record does not have linesmakers sold on their road play.

Tennessee Titans 20
Houston Texans 19

The oddsmakers are basically calling this one a toss up, but have given the slight edge to the Titans who have the more solid running game and defense.

Kansas City Chiefs 18
Oakland Raiders 20

The Chiefs are tied for first place in the AFC West, as unlikely as it sounds, but the oddsmakers don’t feel KC is a title team yet.

New York Jets 20
Cincinnati Bengals 27

Oddsmakers feel a return home by Cincy gets them in the win column for the first time since week one. New York must be really bad.

Minnesota Vikings18
Dallas Cowboys 28

Dallas took its lumps last week and it gets back in the win column here against the Vikes with a comfortable win.

Chicago Bears 18
Philadelphia Eagles 23

How sad for the Bears faithful. Oddsmakers have the defending NFC Champs falling to 2-5. It doesn’t look like they’ll be doing the Super Bowl Shuffle in Chicago this season.

St Louis Rams 16
Seattle Seahawks 24

According to the books, the Rams stay winless in Seattle.

Pittsburgh Steelers 22
Denver Broncos 17

Oddsmakers feel the bye week will help Denver, but not enough to get past the Steelers who are also coming off a bye week.

Monday, 10/22/2007

Indianapolis Colts 24
Jacksonville Jaguars 20

As has been the case in two other road matchups in conference play this season, Indy will find a way to win by the skin of its teeth.
