NFL – September 30
10:00 AM
Oakland Raiders 19
Miami Dolphins 23
Even though the Raiders are coming off a big win and have played well each of the last 2 weeks, the books feel this team does not have the offense to win on the road, even against the 0-3 Dolphins.
10:00 AM
Houston Texans 21
Atlanta Falcons 18
Atlanta played much better at home last week keeping things within a touchdown against Carolina. Houston’s impressive victory on the road at Carolina in week 2 leads the books to believe that the Texans will take care of business.
10:00 AM
Baltimore Ravens 22
Cleveland Browns 18
The books feel the Ravens defense plays better than Cleveland’s offense in this divisional matchup.
10:00 AM
Chicago Bears 24
Detroit Lions 21
The Bears’ offense has been horrendous while Detroit’s offense has surprised at times. The books feel Chicago bounces back from last week’s terrible defeat and gets back to .500 despite its offensive woes.
10:00 AM
Green Bay Packers 20
Minnesota Vikings 18
The oddsmakers have spoken and they feel the Packers will make it to 4-0 for the first time in nine seasons. Brett will have to overcome his Metrodome curse.
10:00 AM
Saint Louis Rams 17
Dallas Cowboys 30
The oddsmakers think Dallas will have no problem with St. Louis. The 17 points they think the Rams will score tells us that they still aren’t sold on Dallas’ defense even after a dominant performance.
10:00 AM
New York Jets 21
Buffalo Bills 17
The oddsmakers like the lowly Jets to get to .500 on the road against the winless Bills. This game might put you to sleep.
1:05
Tampa Bay Buccaneers 18
Carolina Panthers 21
The top two teams in the NFC South face off in this one. The winner will stand alone at the top of the division. The books feel that honor will go to Carolina.
1:05 PM
Seattle Seahawks 22
San Francisco 49ers 19
The oddsmakers still don’t feel the 49ers are ready to dethrone the Seahawks. Maybe next year.
1:15 PM
Pittsburgh Steelers 24
Arizona Cardinals 18
Arizona’s ability to move the ball on offense keeps them in this one, but their defense fails them late against the Steelers.
1:15 PM
Kansas City Chiefs 14
San Diego Chargers 25
The oddsmakers feel a return to the beach will get the Chargers back in the win column and it won’t even be close.
1:15 PM
Denver Broncos 19
Indianapolis Colts 28
The Colts are at the top of their game in the dome and the books feel that it will result in an easy win.
5:15 PM
Philadelphia Eagles 25
New York Giants 22
The books don’t see the momentum from last week’s big win carrying over to this week for the Giants. It looks like another heartbreaking defeat.
NFL - October 01
5:30 PM
New England Patriots 30
Cincinnati Bengals 23
The books don’t think the Patriots will blow out a team by 20+ this week. They like the Bengals offense to provide some problems for the Pats, but ultimately, New England will be too much.
