Super Bowl Betting Pool | Bet on NFL

If you are hosting a Super Bowl party, you had better have your Super Bowl betting pools ready to go. The most popular betting pool is the betting squares pool. I’m sure most of you have seen this before at work, school, or at a past Super Bowl party. For those of you that haven’t seen this, I’ll give you the quick run down.
You’ll need to create a 10×10 grid. You’ll then number the grid from zero through nine on the top and on the side. Then, all you have to do is write one of the Super Bowl teams at the top and the other on the side and you have your 100-square board.
The next step is to draw squares out of a hat and collect an amount per square. Charging a dollar per square is the norm as that makes a $100 pool. And now it is all up to luck. You win if your square matches the score at the end of each quarter. For example, if the Patriots are winning 10-7 at the end of the first quarter, the person who drew the 0-7 square would collect his or her share of the pot. Some people choose to only award the pot to the person which has the final score square, but I feel that having a winner each quarter keeps those involved much more interested. This is also a good game to play with the women as it is completely left to chance giving them an equal opportunity to win if they haven’t been doing any research on the big game.
My favorite Super Bowl betting pool is the wager sheet. Prior to the game, cook up a sheet filled with wagers. Ask your guests to write in who they think will win the game, cover the spread, and win against the total. Also, add some prop bets to keep everyone in the game. For example, you could wager on if Michael Strahan will have more sacks or if Tom Brady will have more touchdown passes. Bodog Sportsbook lists a ton of these Super Bowl proposition bets and some of them get pretty crazy. If you’re looking for ideas, that’s a great place to start. Just collect so much per wager sheet and give the winner of the most bets the pot.
And if these don’t work for you, there is always pin the tail on the donkey. Make sure you check out my Super Bowl Party games article for ideas on how to make your Super Bowl bash a big hit.
