Odds to Win Super Bowl 41
May 27, 2008
Before the 2006-07 NFL regular season was even underway sports books made their Odds to Win Super Bowl 41 available to futures bettors making the Indianapolis Colts the favorite at that time. Here we are now with just one game to go and the Indianapolis Colts are still the favorite to win Super Bowl 41. The Colts are 7-point favorites in Sunday’s big game against the NFC Champion Chicago Bears.

You can find all of your Super Bowl odds at any of Dave Price’s recommended sportsbooks online. These books include Bodog and BetUS. Special to BetUS are odds listed for the Super Bowl 41 MVP. Peyton Manning heads this list followed by Rex Grossman, Joseph Addai, Marvin Harrison and Reggie Wayne. I mention this because this is one of my favorite fun bets to make on the Super Bowl. If you want a free pick, I like Peyton Manning or Brian Urlacher to collect Super Bowl MVP honors. If you like the Colts to win the big game, you have to like the odds on favorite Peyton Manning to win the game’s best player award. If the Colts beat the Bears it will be through the air. If Harrison or Wayne have big games, most likely Peyton Manning will have had a big game and he will receive MVP honors. For the Bears I like Urlacher because if the Bears win this one it will be on the defensive side of the ball. If Urlacher can come up with a big play and get his 10 tackles, he could be a good candidate for MVP and he is showing excellent value at 15 to 1 odds.
