The season is fast approaching and with this article Dave Price is going to take a look at the latest odds to win the AFC. The books have made the New England Patriots the front runners to win the AFC and it’s easy to see why. Not only do they have the best track record of any team spanning this decade, but they also picked up some great free agents in Moss and Thomas.
The other favorites are the San Diego Chargers and the Indianapolis Colts. The Chargers have most of their talent returning from what was the best regular season team a year ago. Their question mark comes with their coaching staff seeing a complete makeover. The Colts have to fight away the Super Bowl hangover that has effected so many teams, and the loss of some defensive talent, but with Peyton Manning you can never count this team out.
The Ravens, Broncos, and Bengals are also all getting a lot of love from the sportsbooks. It looks like it’s going to be a great year with a lot of teams having a shot at the AFC title and a birth in the Super Bowl.
