The Giants have been one of the best home teams in baseball all season long and I’ll back them here against a Cubs team that has struggled on the road throughout the season. In fact, the Cubs have lost 5 straight Thursday games and are just 3-11 in Dempster’s last 14 road starts. Penny has been sensational since joining the Giants minus 1 start when he was lit up by his former team (Dodgers). I expect him to come back focused tonight and ready to school a Cubs lineup hitting only .245 and scoring only 4.0 runs per game on the road. Ultimately, the Cubs are 5-22 in their last 27 games vs. a starter with a WHIP less than 1.15, which is what Penny has in the NL. Take the Giants for 1 Unit.
