Monday Night Football gets an early treat this season when two of the NFC’s best meet up for what could be a very important game when it comes down to who wins the NFC East. The Dallas Cowboys will head to Philadelphia to take on the Eagles. Both team come in 1-0, and both looked solid in their wins in week 1. The Cowboys handed it to the Browns, while the Eagles beat up on the Rams. The Eagles have held the edge as of late, but who knows when you get two teams with this much talent hooking up this early in the season.

Current Odds at JustBet.com
Eagles +6.5
Cowboys -6.5

The Cowboys offense looked sharp against the Browns, racking up nearly 500 yards of total offense. Quarterback Tony Romo looked good throwing for 320 yards and a score, but he did throw a pick in the redzone, that cost Dallas at least 3 points. The running game was solid, as Marion Barber rand for 80 yards and 2 score, while rookie Felix Jones chipped in for 62 yards on just 9 carries, and found the endzone as well. With Romo throwing for all those yards, Terrell Owens, Patrick Crayton, and Jason Witten all had at least 5 catches and over 80 yards. Owens was the target on the touchdown pass, while Witten led the way with 97 yards.

The Dallas defense was tough from start to finish, as they only allowed the Browns to find the endzone once, and score just 10 total points. Holding the Browns to just 10 points is pretty impressive considering the numbers that unit is capable of putting up. DeMarcus Ware is just one of many stars that are on the Cowboys defense, but he tied for the lead with 5 tackles, and grabbed a sack as well. Pacman Jones made his first start in over a year, and didn’t look to bad, which is even better news for this star studded defense. Bet Cowboys -6.5 at JustBet.com

Donavon McNabb looked like a young kid out there again throwing for 361 yards throwing for 3 touchdowns, and for now he seems like he is safe as the Eagles starting quarterback. And while the Cowboys trio of receivers was good, the Eagles did them one better, as rookie DeSean Jackson, Greg Lewis, and Hank Baskett each had over 100 yards receiving. Jackson led the way with 106, but Baskett had the biggest catch when he hauled in a 90 yard bomb for a touchdown. Running back Brian Westbrook continued to prove why he is one of the best backs in the league, as he ran 19 times for 91 yards and found the endzone on the ground and on a 1 yd pass. The Cowboys defense will get its moneys worth this weekend, when they try and beat the Eagles.

The Eagles defense held the Rams to just 3 points, and though the Rams aren’t much of a threat on either side of the ball, they still have one of the better backs in the league in Steven Jackson and quarterback Marc Bulger. The Eagles didn’t let either one get going, as Jackson had just 40 yards on the ground, and Bulger threw for just 158 yards. The defense was led by Stewart Bradley and Quintin Mikell, as both players totaled 9 tackles, and grabbed a sack a piece. This week will be about as tough as it gets, as the Cowboys offense is one of the best the NFL has to offer. Bet Eagles +6.5 at JustBet.com
