This weekend fans get ready for what is arguably the 2nd most anticipated Sprint Cup even of the season, in the 2008 Brickyard 400 from Indianapolis Motor Speedway. Not only do fans consider the second best race behind the Daytona 500, but it has also become the second highest paying event behind Daytona. Tony Stewart has been the man here of late winning 2 of the last 3 including a great win last season. Stewart has yet to win a race this season, and a win this weekend couldn’t come at a better time. While it’s going to be hard with the always competitive field, Jason Lowry is ready to bring you his weekly 1-2-3 prediction for the upcoming racing event this weekend.

1. Jimmie Johnson +700 at Sportsbook.com
We are taking Johnson to win this weekend, as he has been here and done it before back in 2006. Johnson is quietly sitting in 5th place in the point standings, and if he can turn it on late again this year, you never know he might be able to make it 3 in a row. We think its about time he gets hot, and we look for a great finish from the #48 car this weekend.

2. Matt Kenseth +1000 at Sportsbook.com
Kenseth and his #17 car have really not had the season they were hoping for, but the good news is he sits in 8th place and can control his own season. Kenseth has done pretty well here at the Brickyard, as he has finished runner up twice, and has 5 total finishes in the top 10. We think Kenseth is a perfect pick to do well this weekend.

3. Kevin Harvick +2000 at Sportsbook.com
Harvick is another driver that really holds the future of his season in his own hands. He sits in 9th place and a couple big finishes could really get him solidly in the top 12, but a couple bad finishes can have him battling till the very end. Harvick has done well here before including a win back in 2003. Harvick has only finished out of the top 10 twice and we don’t see him out of the top 3 this weekend.
