Dave Price has weighed the odds and he is ready to give you the scoop on the Pac Ten Conference this season. Unfortunately for value hunters, playing a value bet is not going to cash your ticket in this conference. Even playing Cal at +200 is throwing your money down the drain as USC is the clear class of this league.

The Trojans have the best defense in the Pac Ten and perhaps even in the country. No offense in this league is going to walk all over this unit of speedy, stout, All-Americans. With John David Booty calling the shots on the offensive side of the ball, the Trojans also have one of the premier signal caller in the nation.

Cal has a championship offense, but the defense lost far too much to graduation last season for the Bears to have a chance against the Trojans.

UCLA does return 20 starters and they did beat the Trojans last season, but you can bet the farm that that does not happen in 2007. USC will be out for revenge and looking to get back to the BCS title game and they won’t let anything stand in their way.

We’ll have to pay a little juice to get the Trojans as BetUS.com lists USC at -300. However, we still recommend making a small wager on the Trojans as the other teams in this conference are just competing for second place.

Dave Price is here to help you with your betting with his NCAA football picks all season long. Keep your eyes peeled for more college football predictions articles throughout the fall and into the winter as Dave Price wants to educate the average sports bettor.
